Dear Self

Dear self, How are you feeling today? I know yesterday has not been very kind to you and it has left you feeling heavy and tired. It's OK to feel how you feel, whether it's sad, disappointed, hurt, angry or wary. Acknowledge it, let it sink in and feel it. Once you're done feeling, ask yourself, "what is it that i need to dissolve this feeling?". Do you need understanding, acknowledgement and acceptance? Or do you need peace, rest and order? Whatever that you may need, acknowledge it and remind yourself that your needs matter and they make perfect sense. How are you feeling now? Lighter, I hope.
